Design Engineer – Consumer Electronics

About the Role:

and manufactured in the UK.

We are seeking experienced Design Engineers/Product Designers to join our expanding R&D team at our
Somerset site.

With positions available in our new product and existing product teams, you will study, research, design and
develop ideas for new products and the systems used to make them, or modify existing products to increase
efficiency or performance. Our R&D team are fast paced, constantly updating, and working with new
technologies to ensure our products offer the best solutions possible to our diverse customer base.

Sales Operations Advisor

About the Role:

The Sales Operations Advisor will be responsible for providing internal administrative support across sales operations and to new and existing customers. You will conduct a diverse range of semi-routine tasks, whilst providing a focused and professional service, completing all tasks to a consistent, high-quality standard. Demonstrating prioritisation, flexibility, and problem-solving skills with little supervision, whilst contributing to the commercial growth of the business. Act as a liaison with internal and third-party stakeholders. 


Business Development Executive

About the Role:

Numatic International: the proud UK home of Henry Vacuums and industry leaders in the manufacturing of commercial cleaning equipment; we supply our products to over 80 Countries Worldwide and have a strong client base in the UK. Recent events across the globe have created an opportunity for us to expand our product range with the design of new and enhanced commercial cleaners and sanitisers and to support and develop this we need to grow the Sales aspect of our Customer Engagement Centre and due to growing the team we are now actively looking for inspirational, driven, and
focussed individuals to join our Business Development Team. Working from our Chard Somerset HQ you will be providing your unique sales skills to complement our Customer Engagement Team. Reaching out to new and existing customers, this mainly outbound role will look to manage develop and grow each customer, focussing on value for money, sales opportunity and providing the support for our customers to grow with us.


Service Care Advisor

About the Role:

The Service Care Advisor will be responsible for delivering excellence in customer service with ability to recognise customer needs whilst using expertise and demonstrating an extensive all-round product knowledge which will include identifying upselling opportunities. With a thorough understanding of Numatic International’s products and specialised customer requirements, the Service Care Advisor will triage product or service queries in the first instance, with the aim of providing an efficient service outcome. You will interact directly with new and existing Numatic International customers, using initiative and judgement to provide a timely reactive service to customer requirements and requests determined by demand and Service Level Agreement.

The Service Care Advisor will be responsible for administrative system-based activities. Accountable for carrying out a variety of tasks ensuring relevant records are up to date and all administrative processes work effectively.

The role will include some on call weekend working. There is additional payment for this, and it is arranged on a rota basis

Temporary Production Assembly Operatives

About the Role:

Numatic International is a leading Somerset manufacturer of a range of domestic and professional cleaning equipment. Most people know us for the iconic Henry vacuum cleaner (over 15million made so far!). As well as a strong customer base in the UK we supply our products to over 80 countries worldwide.

We are looking to recruit additional Operatives to come and work on our Henry assembly line.

Accounts Clerk

About the Role:

The Accounts Clerk will be responsible for processing invoices for payments and undertake the payment of all
creditors in an accurate and efficient manner.

You will process and monitor incoming payments and secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts, for both the
UK and overseas ledgers.

About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, adaptable, and eager-to-learn designer to join our R+D Graduate Programme. The scheme aims to provide the successful applicant with a grounding in design for industry, production and an introduction into design for manufacture. Our R+D Facilities are a fantastic place to learn, develop and grow.
