Maintenance Administrator

Working within the Maintenance department this role will support the admin function to include ordering processing for Engineers, raising requisitions and processing invoices. Dealing with external contractors and ensuring all paperwork is in place for their visit. We are looking for someone with strong IT skills but also good customer service skills to support the team.

Customer Engagement Advisor

As a Customer Engagement Advisor you will be responsible for delivering excellence in customer service to both internal and external customers and will be instrumental in interacting directly with new and existing customers via Phone, Email and Social Media. Working to provide a high-quality level of service to all customers the Customer Engagement Advisor will positively represent the Numatic International brand acting as the first line of contact.

Business Development Executive

Numatic International: the proud UK home of Henry Vacuums and industry leaders in the manufacturing of commercial cleaning equipment; we supply our products to over 80 Countries Worldwide and have a strong client base in the UK. Recent events across the globe have created an opportunity for us to expand our product range with the design of new and enhanced commercial cleaners and sanitisers and to support and develop this we need to grow the Sales aspect of our Customer Engagement Centre and are now actively looking for inspirational, driven and focussed individuals to join our Business Development Team.


Working from our Chard Somerset HQ you will be providing your unique sales skills to compliment our Customer Engagement Team. Reaching out to our existing customer base this mainly outbound role will look to manage develop and grow each customer, focussing on value for money, sales opportunity and providing the support for our customers to grow with us.

Sector Sales Executive

The Vertical (Sector) Team is responsible for retaining and growing Numatic International business revenues from Key UK Commercial Cleaning Customers/Facility Management Customers, Floor-owners and other large end-users.

The Vertical Executive (VE) is required to work strategically with an allocated portfolio of end-user to promote the sale of Numatic products and services and deliver/exceed budgeted revenue growth monthly/quarterly and annually. The VE is also required to source and onboard new customers in this space.

Territory Account Executive

The Regional Account Management Team is responsible for retaining and growing Numatic International business revenues from Regional UK Commercial Cleaning Distribution Partners (portfolio of approx. 30 accounts). You will be required to work strategically with an allocated portfolio of UK distribution partners to promote the sale of Numatic products and services and deliver/exceed budgeted revenue growth monthly/quarterly and annually.

The role will create and develop long-term, trusting and mutually valuable relationships with Numatic’s customers to ensure delivery of the UK Commercial Sales and Profit Budgets. You will also be responsible for analysing buying trends and product/services mix to identify new revenue streams with their clients through bespoke Joint Business and Innovation plans. The introduction and sales of New Product Developments (NPD) is critical to delivering growth and increasing wallet share for Numatic.

Although Numatic are based in Chard, Somerset we are looking for someone to cover the Midlands area of the UK

Solution Architect

As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for providing expertise in the definition, design, implementation, adoption and adherence to architecture strategies, processes and standards.

You will support the design and implementation of technology, techniques, methods, or applications in multiple technology stacks, and a have a broad appreciation of architectural approaches. Aligning technologies with the business and customer goals, identifying benefits and risk mitigation approaches.

Reporting into the Lead Solution Architect the role will be varied and interesting, where you will act as a key interface between the business teams, the broader IT team and our 3rd party providers. We are currently going through a period of change and as a result you will be involved with broad range of projects and technologies supporting the business in delivering outstanding digital experiences for our customers and employees.

Software Developer

As a Numatic software developer, you will be responsible for configuring and integrating high quality software solutions across a variety of technologies within a primarily Agile delivery environment.

Reporting into the Development Services Manager the role will be varied and interesting, where you will design, engineer and test technical solutions in line with the agreed user stories. We are currently going through a period of change and as a result you will be involved with broad range of projects and technologies supporting the business in delivering outstanding digital experiences for our customers and employees.

Assembly Line Operatives – Shift Work

We are looking to introduce an additional new shift pattern in our Henry Assembly lines to support the ongoing demand Numatic is experiencing through increased sales. The role will work on a continental shift pattern as below:

WEEK 2
Mon – Thurs 06:00 – 18:00

Tues – Thurs 18:00 – 06:00

The role will be working in a fast-paced assembly environment. You must be able to work accurately whilst meeting targets.

ServiceCare Team Leader

The ServiceCare team Leader will be responsible for managing and leading a team of employees, overseeing the day to day performance within the customer engagement centre. The Team Leader will communicate departmental goals and service deadlines to the team, whilst ensuring the delivery professional customer service within a sales focussed environment. The Team Leader will have full knowledge of all aspects of the Customer Engagement Centre activities reflecting the multi-skilled environment and will produce and understand reporting metrics to best influence the performance of the Customer Engagement Centre using all available management information. You will work closely with junior and middle management and will be accountable for excellence in internal and external customer service provision driving an increase in revenues and maximising up sell opportunities. In collaboration with the Marketing and Communication team you will understand social media impact and lead various social omni-channel campaigns to further enhance reach across all customer demographics. The Team Leader will be responsible for undertaking sometimes difficult procedures that will support the objectives of the Customer Engagement Centre providing continuous improvement and contribute to the work of the department whilst supporting the celebration of local successes.

Business Development Team Leader

National Commercial Sales Manager

The National Commercial Sales Manager (NCSM) will be part of the UK Sales Leadership team reporting to the Commercial Sales Director. The NCSM will lead a team of Field Based Account Managers across the UK who deal with and manage the largest and most critical commercial distribution customers in this jurisdiction. Tasked with delivering the annual commercial budget across multiple product categories, the role requires strong Line performance management, Team development, KPI setting and role evolution.

The NCSM will continually, in collaboration with the Commercial Sales Director, review, refine and evolve the “go to market” strategy, review working practices and shape/implement initiatives to identify and deliver on sales opportunities.

The NCSM will work closely with the various Account Managers to support growth initiatives and act as the escalation point for customer opportunities and issues.

The NCSM will cross functional boundaries, using substantial negotiation skills and contribute significantly to the work of the department; accountable for influencing and advising middle and senior managers on innovative solutions, feeding back on the progress of strategies, product development and future markets, whilst working proactively on measuring customer satisfaction and improving services. May be major peaks of pressure.

The NCSM will take ownership of delivering against targets and timelines to achieve plans and follow problems through to resolution whilst developing and implementing strategies, undertaking complex procedures that will support continuous improvement and contribute to the work of the department whilst supporting the celebration of local successes

We run on various shifts to support each department with the products they need to complete final assembly, the shifts we offer are:

Days: 7:30 – 16:15 Monday – Thursday 07:30 – 12:30 Friday.
Double Days: 06: 00 – 14:00 Monday – Thursday 06:00 – 12:45 Friday alternating weekly with 14:00 – 22:00 Monday – Thursday 12:45 – 19:30 Friday

Electronics Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen within R&D to provide ongoing support for existing designs, at both schematic and PCB level. A current support engineer is required to update current products, specifying latest components due to obsolescence or component shortages. Primarily focused on power & embedded electronic solutions to control our existing & future product range.

You will engage with engineering, internal purchasing, and external suppliers to find an optimised solution for alternatives and support current products. To ensure the product meets the same expected ruggedness and durability through validating design and testing. You will report to Lead Engineer on current work tasks and progress.

Wiring and Harness Lead

You will manage development activities and team resource to align with project programs and deadlines & drive continuous improvement for best practise design, guidelines & rules.
Provide technical guidance & support to team members. Improve capability of team members through development and KPI reports.

You will engage with engineers and suppliers both internally and externally to ensure an optimised solution is engineered and support continuous improvement through innovation, commercialisation and business need.

Ensure that attention to detail, rectification of design error, and cost control, are considerations that you and your design team have at the forefront of your minds when engaged on design work – for both new and existing products.

Represent your team at meetings with other internal and external stakeholders, and to ensure that the interests of the technology department are properly represented and promoted in an appropriate and respectful manner.

Regularly review documentation detailing system requirements, compliance, performance & validation in accordance with product specifications .

Senior Software Engineer / UI Engineer

We are looking for an experienced UI software developers with a background or interest in mobile robotics.

This role involves working in a R&D department developing software and a UI for an autonomous mobile robotic system whish uses cameras and Lidars along with other sensors for navigation. This role will require experience translating sensor data to display real-time on the UI, an interest or experience in robotics is also beneficial. A confident communicator is a must, along with flexibility to travel when required. In return you’ll be rewarded with working on cutting edge projects where you can flex your creative muscles to solve problems and come up with creative solutions that you will have the opportunity to implement. Relocation and some remote working can be considered for this role.

Due to expansion Numatic International are currently seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer to join their Research and Development Team.
You will study, research, design and develop ideas for new products and the systems used to make them as well as modify existing products to increase efficiency or improve performance. You will also support other Designers and Junior Designers in their work and encourage and develop their skills.
