Research & Development:

Senior Embedded Software Engineer

About the Role:

As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for embedded code development with a small team of hardware and firmware specialists. Primarily focussed on the full code life cycle including, design, implementation and test of key enhancements. A robust understanding of microcontroller hardware and architectures is essential with a familiarity with microchip, ST Microelectronics devices and a keen interest in programming best practices. Experience of ‘Bare Metal’ C programming is essential and C#/Python programming is desirable. You will have demonstrable experience in source control practices (GIT knowledge is desirable) with an understanding of electronic test equipment (scopes & meters) and ability to interpret circuit diagrams. Experience in i2C, SPI, wireless protocols, PWM, ADC and UART is desirable with good development, documentation, release and revision management skills.

About the Role:

Home to the UK’s no 1 selling vacuum cleaner, at Numatic we have a strong and proud heritage. The role of the Technician will be responsible for supporting with testing of a variety of individual projects within the Test House, responding to the changing needs of the department. Working alongside other experts, the Technician will aid the development, testing and approval of Numatic products through whole product lifecycle to support new product development or support existing products.

The role will provide technical information and results to management relating to expertise and will undertake procedures with some independence that will support continuous improvement and contribute to the work of the department whilst supporting the celebration of local successes. We are looking for an experienced UI software developers with a background or interest in mobile robotics.

This role involves working in a R&D department developing software and a UI for an autonomous mobile robotic system whish uses cameras and Lidars along with other sensors for navigation. This role will require experience translating sensor data to display real-time on the UI, an interest or experience in robotics is also beneficial. A confident communicator is a must, along with flexibility to travel when required. About the Role:

This role will be part of the UK Sales Team reporting to the Business Intelligence Team Manager. A Data Analyst scrutinises sales, supply and customer information using data analysis tools. The insights derived from the raw data helps the Organisational Leadership, Product Management Teams and UK and International Sales Team make important decisions by identifying various facts and trends. The Data Analyst will perform analyses and run various mathematical calculations to determine how the insights might best be applied to understand trends, drive sales and profit opportunities for the business. This role will support the Commercial Director, Product Management team as well as the wider Sales team both in the UK and Internationally. It will also work closely with Sales Systems, IT & DS continually improving the tools that the business uses. From time to time there will be direct customer contact, normally with another member of the Sales Team to enhance understanding. The Verticals Manager will be a subject matter expert in these areas and new product development to ensure maximum traction and sales of new products and services.

The Retail Key Account Manager will be accountable for the day to day performance of allocated key accounts. The Retail Key Account Manager will focus on the sales out, through promotion and joint business plans. Project Support Officer

About the Role:

The Project Support Officer will provide a high-quality administrative support to the team of Project Managers, Project Leads and Programme & Governance Manager to facilitate the smooth running of project office procedures within a busy environment. The Project Support Officer will carry out a variety of tasks, including responsibility for project support and reporting, including project data analysis, in this role you will maintain focus on Quality Assurance and Post Implementation Audits across all projects. The SQL Server DBA works as part of the Application and Database Management Team within the IT&DS Department primarily responsible for managing SQL server databases.
