Product Approvals Engineer

About the Role:

This position is responsible for providing technical guidance and support on all matters relating to global
product compliance. Working closely with product design teams and key stakeholders across the
business from early development through to start of production and beyond, ensuring products comply
with global product standards, supporting a ‘design for compliance’ approach.

About the Role:

Due to business growth and product expansion, we are seeking experienced Product Designers & Senior Product Design Engineers to join our Research and Development Team. You will study, research, design and develop ideas for new products and the systems used to make them, as well as modify existing products to increase efficiency or improve performance.


Our R&D team are a fast-paced team that are constantly updating and working with new technologies to ensure our products are up to date and offer the best solutions possible to our diverse customer base. Retail Sales Advisor

About the Role:

We are looking for an office-based individual to join the busy Retail Sales Team.

This position will support all members of the team with their analytical skills, as well as administration and customer contact. You will become an expert in this field, however we are willing to train the successful applicant. Desire and passion to join a busy sales team is paramount.

This role will be primarily supporting the field based team however in addition to this we are looking for someone that is strong with data and analytical skills; to report on the activity of the team.

Maintenance Facilities Assistant

About the Role:

The Maintenance Facilities Assistant will be responsible for the completion of routine maintenance and scheduled checks to ensure excellent building welfare and facilities are legally compliant.

Liaising with other experts, the Maintenance Facilities Assistant will carry out routine planned preventative maintenance whilst responding to the changing needs of the organisation.

The Maintenance Facilities Assistant will act with some independence whilst undertaking procedures that will support continuous improvement and contribute to the work of the department whilst supporting the celebration of local successes.

About the Role:

As a Welder you will be responsible for operating appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision.

You will cut and join metals and other materials to produce equipment which is used in the production of Numatic products or produce parts for Numatic products.

This role will be on a day shift working 07:30 – 16:15 Monday – Thursday and 07:30 – 12:30 Friday

Intellectual Property Paralegal / Manager

About the Role:

Numatic International delivers professional, practical, and reliable cleaning equipment, designed, engineered, and manufactured in the UK. We are a fast paced and rapidly expanding company that is focused on quality and durability. Our product range is growing and so is our site, based in Somerset.

We are actively seeking a skilled and experienced individual for the position of Intellectual Property (IP) Paralegal / manager. This role is tailored to someone with a background in engineering or science, possessing substantial expertise in intellectual property (IP) and the broader IP landscape or graduates with 2-3 years experience who have completed an approved intellectual property course.

Full Stack/MERN Software Developer

About the Role:

Fabrication Apprentice

About the Role:

Home to the UK’s Number 1 selling vacuum cleaner, at Numatic we have a strong and proud heritage. But it’s not just about Henry, it may surprise you to know that we manufacture over 150 different products, with thousands of variations! From concept through to design, moulding through to assembly and testing, to sales and shipping worldwide, everything happens at our manufacturing site in Chard.

We are looking for an apprentice to work in our Fabrication workshop. You will be working as part of a team that laser cut, bend, cut and make metal objects for our many machines that are made here on site. You will learn how to analyse engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and fabrication operations. You will learn how to assist with production and maintenance of detailed specifications, objectives, requirements, and documentation throughout a development cycle. Through working with an experienced team, you will cover all aspects of the role to include laser cutting and fabrication as well as some welding.

During the course of your apprenticeship you will undertake a Level 2 Weld and Fabrication qualification as well as learn on the job, this will involve attending College 1 day a week.

We are currently looking for a Level 3 Robotics and Automation apprentice to join our busy Production Engineering team. The Apprentice is responsible for assisting with production engineering activities and will be involved in developing, improving, and overseeing the equipment and machinery use in the manufacturing process to maximise production.

During the course of your apprenticeship, you will undertake a Level 3 Robotics and Automation qualification that will be Nationally recognised for your future development. You will attend College part of your course as well as learn on the job from specialists around you.
