As an Embedded Software Designer, you will be responsible for embedded code development with a small team of hardware and software specialists. Primarily focussed on the full code life cycle including requirements, design, implementation and test of key enhancements, you will also review and implement customer requests for feature enhancements. A robust understanding of microcontroller hardware and architectures is essential with a familiarity with microchip, ST Microelectronics devices and a keen interest in programming best practices. Experience of C# programme is desirable.
You will have knowledge in low cost high volume and/or lower volume higher margin product development and have demonstrable experience in source control practices with an understanding of electronic test equipment (scopes & meters) and ability to interpret circuit diagrams. Experience in 12C, SPI, Bluetooth, wireless protocols, PWM, AD, UART is desirable with good development, documentation, release and revision management skills.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in embedded software development in C is essential. Degree/HND qualified or appropriate work experience in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
As Head of After Market Sales at Numatic International, you will be responsible for leading and motivating the aftersales team by personally demonstrating and encouraging the skills and behaviours associated with our company values. You will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support on all matters relating to global product compliance. As a Wiring Engineer, you will be responsible for the execution of work packages and tasks, within the Company’s main projects, relating to the design, development, prototyping and testing of electrical systems for our products and technology. Primarily focussed on the design of electrical systems, including 3D wiring harness routing, 2D harness drawings and schematics, electrical packages, as well as defining components and systems specifications you will also use your expertise to participate in concept studies and initiation of harness development.
Using an agile mindset to design and development you will collaborate with the design and development of Electrical Distributions System (EDS) to ensure designs meet organisational requirements for performance, timing, manufacturability and cost.
A robust understanding of wire harness manufacturing process and demonstrable experience of full product life cycle activities and ability to achieve cost, weight and technical targets within specified targets is essential. Practical knowledge of an ECAD and MCAD tool would be an advantage.
You will have knowledge in low cost high volume and / or lower volume higher margin product development, experience in determining possible redesign possibilities following testing and manufacturing is desirable, strong ability to work as part of the team with good communication skills is valued.
Degree level in technical subject or appropriate work experience in an engineering discipline or equivalent. Training in Lean and Six Sigma techniques desirable.

The Business Development Manager in our Customer Engagement Centre will be a dynamic individual who is responsible for generating revenue by identifying sales opportunities, pitching goods to new clients and maintaining good working relationships with new distributor partnerships. You will be accountable for providing feedback on the progress of Business Development projects, whilst working proactively on lead generation and maximising commercial sales opportunity. You will develop and design appropriate sales training packages and work closely with the Customer Engagement team, providing sales techniques and advice to grow revenue streams, ensuring the continued success of commercial business at Numatic. You will lead a small team of specialists to enable customer service and sales processes to be effective and efficient whilst undertaking procedures that will support the continuous improvement of the department
